The tentative agreement must be ratified by dues-paying members of the GAO Employees Organization. Voting is taking place through Monday, September 17, 2018. The ratification vote is being organized by the independent Elections Committee.
Once the agreement has been ratified and then signed by the Comptroller General, the GAO Employees Organization and the Agency will distribute the new agreement. Then, the parties will negotiate the Multi-Year Annual Adjustment agreement (to align it with the new Multi-Year Compensation MOA), and the amount of performance-based compensation (PBC) to be paid to employees in calendar years 2019 - 2020.
Our ability to represent employees and negotiate topics like salary ranges is made possible by having legal counsel at the table during negotiations and mediation. This is not possible without the financial contributions of dues-paying members, and we’re thankful to all of you who have shown your support by joining the GAO Employees Organization. GAO employees who are not yet dues-paying members, and would like to participate in this ratification, may do so by joining by September 12, 2018. For more information about membership, visit GAOEmployees.org/Join.
As always, please direct any questions to firstname.lastname@example.org, and thank you for your ongoing input and support.
